The 2006 vintage was a good combination of early rains and moist followed by a warmer summer resulting in good fragant grapes. The terroir in the Willunga area with gravel and sandstone. A real interesting fact is that 20% of the grapes are dried the "Amarone Way" in order to concentrate the fruit used. As a result it has a vibrant colour with a very deep nose with spiceness. Following 9 months in oak this is a fabulous wine you should try.
