Seriously good value and made by the Martinez Bujanda family, one of the most important families in the Rioja area. This wine comes from Tierra de Castilla in central Spain where the hot summers ensure perfect ripening of the grapes. Impressively concentrated Rioja-style wine, with vanilla oak seasoning the lush rhubarb and strawberry fruit. The wine has spent 3 months in oak barrels, just enough to complement the fruit without overpowering the wine.
