This Bourgogne was selected in 2001 by the TasteVinage. "Le TasteVinage" is is an examination by an independent jury which grants those bottles of Burgundy that conform to the characteristics of their vintage and their year, the right to bear the official stamp of the Confrérie. If the stamp appears on the label as on this one it is an acknowledgment that the wine has character and unquestionable quality. The Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin is in operation since 1950 and the main concern is to keep quality of the Burgundy wines high and are not commercially involved. Every year in the spring they meet in Château du Clos de Vougeot. A delightful Pinot Noir.
