A Super Venetian from semi-dried indigenous grapes (Refosco and Carmenère) produced in Friuli at Castions di Strada by Masi, a specialist in the production of wines from semi-dried grapes, such as Amarone. The name comes from the drying of a grape berry (grano) on traditional drying racks (arella). Grandarella has an ageing potential of 10-15 years and is the ideal accompaniment to a serious meal of red meats, game or strongly flavoured cheeses or to be enjoyed on its own after a good meal.
