Yalumba pioneered the development of Viognier in Australia and began the first commercial planting of the variety here in 1980. The grapes are handpicked and whole-bunch pressed directly to barrels. After fermentation, the wine is aged for nine months to further increase complexity and flavour. This pale gold Viognier is luscious and restrained, and will complement a range of different foods.
