Three vineyards supplied the grapes for this wine. The Dog Point vineyard gives grapefruit and citrus, the Brancott vineyard honey and spice and the Wratts Road vineyard gives weight and depth. Machine harvested in the cool of the evening the grapes were oxidatively handled and juiced immediately. Cool fermented with a pure yeast strain, the wine was fermented dry. A small volume of late harvest Riesling was back blended to give a hint of sweetness. Great depth of flavour with lemon zest and honey. An ideal aperitif or suited to delicate fusion foods. Drink now but could be kept for over 10 years.
