Country: South Africa
One of South Africa’s premier estates, this beautiful farm is situated on the east-facing slopes of the magnificent Constantiaberg, barely 12km from False Bay. Originally, Buitenverwachting (meaning 'Beyond Expectation') was part of the Constantia Estate which was founded by Simon van der Stel, the first Governor of the new Dutch colony at the tip of Africa. This medium-bodied, elegant Sauvignon Blanc is crisp and clean, with hints of mineral and flint aromas and flavours. Its firm structure, good acidity, and long finish make it suitable for keeping.
