Champagne Deutz Brut Vintage 2006
Per bottle Return to your selection
Deutz Brut Vintage champagne is created in only the best years, when a vintage is declared. Only nine vintages have been released since 1974. The wines are blended from the finest crus and aged for at least three years on the lees, one year more than required, in order to develop a rich bouquet and flavour. A blend of approximately 60% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Meunier produces the elegant finish typical of Deutz champagne. The nose hints at mirabelle plums, lemon and a certain minerality. On the palate, the presence of vibrant fruit flavours enhances the structure, balance, and ripeness. The Pinots and Chardonnay merge perfectlyto reveal all the delicious flavours of the Champagne grapes. This champagne is suitable for keeping, and its underlying tones of dried fruit and dates will develop over time.
