Producer: Bodega Norton
The area around Luján de Cuyo in the Mendoza province has long been known as “The First Zone” and reflects the fact that it is located in a privileged spot for high quality wine production. This is due to the fact that the vineyards are located 900 m above sea level, the soil is well drained and naturally irrigated by the crystal water from the Andes mountains and a sunny climate with more than 250 sunny days a year. Temperature differences between night and day help the vines to relax and allows the fruit to achieve natural ripeness while retaining freshness. The wine is produced by Bodegas Norton – the largest and most international known – in this case it stands for high quality as they proud themselves in only taking the best from the liaised vineries. The blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin is an example how the bodega ensures to produce an interesting balanced wine which has a fruity and delicious taste. The wine is ready to drink now, hence enjoy it on a warm summer day on its own or with light meats.
